Getting In & Wristbands

  • Are wristbands refundable?

    As a charity, we treat all wristband sales as donations so unfortunately, we're unable to offer refunds if you can't attend.
  • Can I buy a wristband on the day?

    No - wristbands are only available in advance.
  • Do I need a ticket or wristband to attend Pride?

    No, entry to Pride in Gloucestershire is by donation on the day - you don't need to buy a ticket in advance. However, we encourage supporters to pre-purchase a Pride Supporter Wristband, which counts as your donation and comes with some great perks!
  • Do I need to donate again if I've bought a wristband?

    Nope! Your wristband is your donation - just head to the fast-track queue and show your QR code.
  • How much does the wristband cost?

    Adults (18+): £5
    Young people (13-17): £2.50
    Children under 13: Free
    Personal assistants/carers: Free with main ticket holder
  • What is a Pride Supporter Wristband?

    It's a way to support your Pride and help us keep the event running. The wristband acts as your donation and unlocks exclusive benefits like fast-track entry, discounts, prize draws, and more.
  • What perks do I get with the wristband?

    We are adding more perks as they get announced - but currently:
    - Fast-track entry into the event
    - 10% off Pride merch
    - Entry to our Supporter prize draw
    - Discount on "sponsor a loo"
    - Optional message on our Supporters wall
    - Join our exclusive mailing list
  • Where can I buy a wristband?

    Wristbands must be bought in advance - either online or at our Pride Hub in the city centre the week before the event. On the day, you'll show your QR code at the gate and receive your wristband there.

Planning Your Visit

  • Can I bring a banner or flags to the March/Pride?

    Yes, you are welcome to bring your banners and flags.
  • Can I bring a scooter or skateboard?

    Yes, you can bring scooters and skateboards, but please be mindful of others, especially in crowded areas.
  • Can I bring my dog to Pride in Gloucestershire?

    Yes, dogs are welcome at Pride in Gloucestershire! Please ensure your dog is well-behaved and on a lead at all times and that you clean up after it. We will have bowls of water and dog bags available around the site.
  • Can I take photos at Pride in Gloucestershire?

    Yes, we encourage you to capture and share your experiences! Please tag us in your photos on social media. If you don't want to be included in any official event photos, please inform the photographer.

    If you see a photo of yourself on our website or social media that you would like removed, please contact us, and we'll take it down.
  • Can I volunteer at Pride in Gloucestershire?

    Absolutely! We're always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make the event successful. If you're interested, please apply online.
  • Do I require a ticket?

    No ticket is required to attend Pride in Gloucestershire 2025. Entry is by suggested donation on the day, or you can choose to purchase a Pride Supporter Wristband in advance, which acts as your donation and gives you extra perks like fast-track entry and discounts.
  • Is free water available on-site?

    Unfortunately, due to the event being in a field, there is no provision for tap water.
  • Is Pride in Gloucestershire 2025 free to attend?

    Yes - Pride in Gloucestershire 2025 is free to attend, and always will be. However, we do ask for a suggested donation of £5 for adults and £2.50 for young people aged 13-17 at the gate to help cover the cost of running the event. Children under 13 and personal assistants/carers attend for free.
    You can also show your support in advance by purchasing a Pride Supporter Wristband, which includes perks like fast-track entry, discounts, and entry into our prize draw. Every contribution helps us keep Pride accessible, safe, and sustainable for everyone.
  • Is the event family-friendly?

    Pride in Gloucestershire is open to everyone, including families, and there will be activities and entertainment that children can enjoy. However, it's important to remember that this is first and foremost a Pride event - a celebration of LGBTQ+ identity and expression. While much of the event is suitable for all ages, some areas or performances may include content aimed at mature audiences. We encourage parents and carers to consider what's appropriate for their children and make the choices that are right for them.
  • What accessibility features are available at Pride in Gloucestershire?

    Pride in Gloucestershire is committed to running inclusive events, and we are delighted to be Bronze Accredited by Attitude is Everything.

  • What happens if it rains on the day of the event?

    Pride in Gloucestershire will go ahead rain or shine! We recommend bringing weather-appropriate clothing. In the event of extreme weather conditions, please check our website and social media for any updates or changes to the schedule.
  • What should I wear?

    At Pride in Gloucestershire, we have a 'swimwear minimum' coverage, but beyond that, you are encouraged to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and accepted! We suggest you check the weather and dress suitably for the conditions.

    To avoid doubt, we permit all forms of clothing, including drag, fancy dress, pup-hoods, fursuits, leather, latex, or anything else, as long as it's not causing danger to other visitors and is minimum swimwear coverage.

  • When and Where is Pride in Gloucestershire 2025?

    Pride in Gloucestershire 2025 will take place on Saturday, 13th September 2025. The event will kick off with a march leaving Gloucester Cathedral around 11:15, followed by a full day of activities, performances, and celebrations at Gloucester Park from 12:00 to 19:30.

Safety & Event Rules

  • Can I bring a disposable BBQ?

    No, disposable BBQs are not allowed at the event.
  • Can I bring a drone to the event?

    No, drones are not permitted.
  • Can I bring alcohol to the event?

    No, you cannot bring your own alcohol. However, you are allowed to bring sealed soft drinks/water. There will be plenty of bars on-site where you can purchase drinks. For your safety and security we will be operating bag checks on entry, where we will require any open drinks / alcohol to be disposed of prior to entry.
  • Can I bring food to the event?

    Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food. However, we ask that you avoid bringing any glass containers. There will also be a fantastic range of food traders on site.
  • Can I hand out flyers at the event?

    No, handing out flyers is not permitted.
  • Can I smoke or vape at the event?

    Yes, smoking and vaping are allowed, but not in tents or crowded areas. Please be mindful of others. Remember, it is against the law to smoke in enclosed areas.
  • Do you limit bag size I can bring?

    We do not limit the size of bag you bring - however we do ask you to try and keep what you bring to a minimum to reduce the security queue on entry.
  • What else is prohibited at the event?

    For the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, the following items are prohibited:
    - Weapons or items that could be used as weapons, including oversized lighters.
    - Glass containers.
    - Fireworks
    - Disposable BBQs
    - Drones.
    - Alcohol (from outside the event) - Open soft drink/water bottles/cans (sealed containers are fine)

    You are welcome to bring camping chairs and other non-restricted items.
  • What is the dress code?

    At Pride in Gloucestershire, we have a 'swimwear minimum' coverage, but beyond that, you are encouraged to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and accepted! We suggest you check the weather and dress suitably for the conditions.   • Will there be bag searches on entry?

    Yes, bag searches will be conducted at the entrance to the event. These measures are in place to ensure your safety and the safety of all attendees. Please cooperate with our security team during this process. Please be aware that prohibited items, such as weapons, glass containers, alcohol or open drink containers, and illegal substances, will be confiscated. To speed up entry, consider bringing only essential items.

  • What ID should I bring?

    If you plan on purchasing alcohol or entering the K&F Zone, please bring a valid ID. We operate a Challenge 25 policy, so you may be asked to prove your age. Acceptable forms of ID include a valid passport, driver's license, or a national proof of age card with a hologram.
  • What should I do if I feel unwell at the event?

    If you feel unwell, please visit our first aid tent, where trained medical staff will assist you. If it's an emergency, please notify the nearest security personnel immediately.
  • What should I do if I lose something?

    If you lose any personal belongings during the event, please visit the Information and Accessibility tent located opposite the main-stage.

    If you find something that doesn't belong to you, we encourage you to hand it in at the same location.

    After the event, unclaimed items will be held for a short period; you can contact us via our website to inquire about lost items.
  • Who should I contact if I have a complaint or concern during the event?

    If you have any complaints or concerns, please raise this with our Information and Accessibility tent with the team who will be happy to assist you.
