Whether you're part of the LGBTQ+ community or a supportive ally, come and share in the joy and unity of this special day. Let's make Pride in Cheltenham 2024 a day to remember!
The main stage at Cheltenham Pride is set to be a dazzling showcase of diversity and talent, promising an unforgettable experience for everyone. From 12:00 to 18:00, attendees can expect a sensational lineup featuring a vibrant mix of artists and performers from various backgrounds, each bringing their unique flair and passion to the stage. This year's event emphasises inclusivity and celebration, with acts ranging from electrifying live music and drag performances to inspirational speakers and dance groups.
The Pride Dog Show takes place in the middle of the event with 8 classes up for grabs. Entry is £2 per dog/per class, and registration is on the day at the Pride Info & Merch tent. There are treats for all dogs, and the top 3 in each class will get a rosette. The class winner receives a trophy and is entered into the Best in Show Class.

There is no fee for individuals or community groups to join the march; we ask for a token contribution if you join as a corporate group to help support the cost of delivering pride.

Bus (Stagecoach)
Stagecoach Bus Routes to Cheltenham Town Centre will take you only a 10-minute walk from Imperial Gardens. The "Cheltenham, Imperial Square" bus stop is right by the park for a closer stop.
Car
No private parking is provided at the event site. There is limited paid on-street car parking in the surrounding area; however, these are normally very busy, so we advise parking in the multi-story carparks in the town centre and walking to the park.

There is a Voi parking spot at the south of the park.
Pride in Cheltenham is an annual event celebrating the LGBTQ+ community and its allies. It's a day of unity, acceptance, and joy, featuring a pride march, live music, speeches, stalls, food & drink and more, aimed at supporting equality and diversity in our community.
The event is scheduled for Saturday 18th May 2024, from 12:00 to 18:00. It will be held at Imperial Gardens, Cheltenham
No, Pride in Cheltenham is free to attend! We believe in making our celebration accessible to everyone. However, donations are welcome and greatly appreciated, as they help us to continue this tradition.
We recommend bringing sunscreen, a water bottle, comfortable footwear, and your pride flags or attire to show your support! Don't forget to check the weather forecast and prepare accordingly.
Pride in Cheltenham is open to people of all ages. There will be activities suitable for children as well as adults.
Yes, there will be a variety of food and drink vendors offering delicious options, including vegan and gluten-free choices. Feel free to bring your own snacks, but please remember to leave no trace and dispose of your rubbish responsibly.
The safety of our attendees is our top priority. There will be security personnel and a first aid station on site. We are also working closely with Cheltenham Borough Council & Local Authorities to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

Yes, pets are welcome but must always be kept on a leash. Please consider whether your pet is comfortable in large crowds and loud environments.
We will also return with our annual Dog Show, so we expect many dogs to be on-site.

We provide a range of accessible toilet facilities to ensure comfort and convenience for all attendees. This includes accessible portable toilets, baby changing facilities, and a staffed Changing Places ReviLoo, which is equipped to meet the needs of people who require additional assistance.
Yes, we are proud to offer British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation for all main-stage programming. Our aim is to make every performance and speech accessible to Deaf and hard-of-hearing attendees.
Absolutely! The main stage is equipped with a hearing aid loop system to assist attendees with hearing aids in enjoying the performances without any inconvenience. Please switch your hearing aid to the 'T' setting to connect to the loop.
Pride March
The pride march occurs along the High Street, Pedestrianised Areas, and paved roads. The surface is suitable for wheelchairs, although it may be a little bumpy due to the paved areas. We have had many wheelchair users join us along the route in past years with no problems!
Pride Event
The entire park is accessible - taking advantage of the installed hardstanding pathways and ramped access to all areas.
Recognising the diverse needs of our community, we have created a sensory zone designed to provide a quieter, more comfortable space for those who may find the event overwhelming. This zone is equipped with ear defenders and fidget toys to help manage sensory input.
The event is in an open park; visitors can leave and return later!
Yes, the park has plenty of benches and places to sit. You are also welcome to bring your own camping chairs with you.
